Technical Writer

📋 What you will do

• Own the documentation experience for Nabu Casa Hardware and Cloud end to end
• Plan and deliver documentation for new features, integrations, and releases in sync with the product shipping cycle
• Work directly with engineers to verify technical content
• Continuously audit and improve existing documentation
• Define and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and templates
• Triage documentation feedback from the community, support, and internal teams
• Improve developer experience through API guides, integration docs, and contributor documentation
• Track documentation quality signals and report on them regularly

✅ What we expect

• Strong technical writing skills with a portfolio of developer or product documentation
• Ability to read and understand code without constant hand-holding from engineers
• Good understanding of smart home hardware and electronics
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently
• Experience documenting technical products
