📌 What you will be doing
— design test cases according to requirements and needs;
— automate various types of functional testing for a wide range of projects (web, mobile, desktop);
— participate in writing stubs, test services, and test utilities for use in projects;
— prepare and adapt test documentation and reporting for automation using test management systems and bug trackers;
— combine the responsibilities of manual tester and automation engineer in different proportions, depending on the current project needs;
— prepare and conduct load testing;
— take part in various teams and interact with other specialists (from 5-person startups to entire company divisions with teams of 250 people);
— contribute to the quality of the software released.
📌 What we expect
— at least 2 years of experience in test automation using Java or Python;
— strong knowledge of testing theory and understanding of quality assurance and software development processes;
— hands-on experience with version control systems, conscious use of libraries and frameworks;
— practical use of Selenium (Selenide), Playwright, Appium and alternatives, defining locators for different interfaces;
— experience building test automation frameworks from scratch;
— skills in setting up CI/CD and using virtualization and containerization systems;
— strong technical background, knowledge of networks, protocols, integrations, data transfer formats, desktop and mobile operating systems, backend systems, and understanding of how all of this is connected and works;
— experience using various testing tools - you will definitely need them to extract and analyze logs, access APIs, emulate issues, spin up stubs, etc.;
— understanding of database principles and ability to write SQL queries at the level of joins and aggregate functions;
— proactivity, desire, and readiness to improve your knowledge and skills.
