📋 What you will do

  • Own marketing strategy and the full funnel, from first impression to paid subscription
  • Sharpen positioning and messaging for a skeptical, ambitious audience of authors
  • Set the channel mix across paid social, search, SEO, email, and partnerships
  • Define key metrics, build honest measurement, and report on performance
  • Run launches end to end for new tools, pricing changes, and research reports
  • Hire, manage, and develop the marketing team, starting with content and growth roles
  • Write high-quality copy for landing pages, emails, and positioning docs

What we expect

  • 6+ years in marketing with at least 2 years leading a function or team
  • Experience growing a subscription software product (prosumer or SMB focus)
  • Genuinely strong writer (writing samples will be requested)
  • Fluency with funnel data: ability to pull numbers and question attribution
  • Player-coach temperament: enjoys both strategy and shipping the work
  • Comfortable being the most senior marketer and owning outcomes without a playbook

🎁 What we offer

  • Salary: $130,000–$165,000 base salary per year
