Vertical Transportation Designer

📋 What you will do

• Produce drawings, layouts, and technical solutions for the Vertical Transportation team
• Create BIM deliverables, models, and detailing for project documentation
• Support Project Managers with model presentations for internal teams and client meetings
• Complete Revit project setup
• Review project drawings and models to design and coordinate vertical transportation accurately
• Communicate design changes and issues with the Project Manager and the Design Team
• Manage assigned projects while meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
• Collaborate on multi-discipline and multi-company projects
• Develop layouts for elevators, escalators, and moving walks under management supervision
• Determine and document technical data such as dimensions, structural loading, electrical requirements, and heat output
• Research elevator, building, and applicable codes
• Develop and improve the Revit family library

🛠 Stack and skills

✅ What we expect

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience in architectural and/or engineering drafting
• Familiarity with architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical design
• Ability to read design blueprints
• Skills in Revit families, advanced modeling, and BIM workflows
• Ability to follow project execution plans and workflow criteria
• Experience with QA/QC
• Ability to take direction and participate in quality reviews
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize assignments
