Designated Safety and Health Officer

📋 What you will do

• Support the employer in implementing measures to protect against and prevent occupational risks
• Organize and monitor compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations
• Assess the hospital's overall occupational safety and health situation
• Monitor work methods, equipment used, risk analyses and risk assessments
• Develop and follow up measures to prevent accidents
• Conduct accident analyses and define KPI, action plans and related communications
• Participate in developing the hospital's occupational safety and health strategy with relevant departments
• Create, update and communicate occupational safety and health plans
• Deliver internal training on workplace safety and health protection
• Perform regular safety inspections
• Manage and update safety logs and registers
• Monitor and implement performance indicators to steer activities
• Maintain relations with ITM, regulatory authorities, occupational health services and other relevant bodies
• Cooperate with rescue services, police, DAC and other concerned organizations
• Represent HRS in national working groups within FHL
• Manage and organize the heliport and ensure safe, compliant operations by the rescue service
• Act as deputy for the laser safety officer, hazardous substances officer and fire protection officer when needed
• Advise the technical and construction departments on safety matters for construction and renovation projects
