📋 What you will do

  • Prepare and deliver financial statement packages for a portfolio of multifamily properties
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
  • Review general ledger reports and correct errors before period close
  • Review and analyze accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Research and explain variances in the income statement and changes in the balance sheet
  • Prepare additional financial reports for the financial package upon client request
  • Assist independent CPA firms with annual and periodic audits and reviews
  • Analyze and post year-end audit adjusting entries
  • Support property management with questions about monthly financial statements
  • Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Manage cash for the assigned portfolio of multifamily properties
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Assist with accounting and operations projects as requested

What we expect

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1–4 years of work experience or equivalent in a related field
  • Real estate accounting experience preferred
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision and instruction
  • Attention to detail and accountability
