Controls Design Engineer (Electrical)

📋 What you will do

• Develop and produce control system drawings and documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Support the design of building automation and control systems for HVAC and related systems
• Develop layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel designs
• Coordinate design deliverables with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines
• Contribute to low-voltage system design, including controls and fire alarm
• Update project documentation and keep it accurate and current
• Incorporate feedback from design reviews and apply revisions
• Prepare submittals, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation
• Follow internal QA/QC processes and applicable standards and codes

🛠 Stack and skills

✅ What we expect

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
• 3–6+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or low-voltage systems
• Strong Revit proficiency is highly preferred
• Basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and HVAC integration
• Exposure to fire alarm or other low-voltage systems is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
